This is a page of codes that can be used on a GameShark, to be used on the Pokémon games of Generation I.
How to use
While typing these codes into a GameShark, replace any "??"s with the HEX number that corresponds with the value that you wish something to be changed to by means of the code. What this number corresponds with has to do with the function of the code itself. For instance, if the code changes the Attack Stat of the first Pokémon in the player's party, to change it to 255 one would replace the "??" with "FF".
Large sections will be put into their own pages, these will be located at Pokémon GameShark Codes (Generation I)/xxxxxx where xxxxxx corresponds to any written article, these sections will be mentioned in the article but there will be a link to the relevent page.
Notes
- All of the codes on this list start with 01. This beginning should work on most games, but if it doesn't work, change it to 91 or 00. One of the three should work.
- The following codes are for Pokémon Red and Blue; to convert these into codes for Pokémon Yellow subtract one from the sixth digit. Note that if a code is exclusive for Pokémon Yellow such as "Jump higher" in the Surfing minigame, it will not have the same effect on Pokémon Red and Blue even when the player adds one onto the sixth digit.
